Sanitation is sexy and green

This entire poop is full of energy that could be harvest to create electricity. If this energy was properly harvested, resources could be better used. The need for water could be reduced compare to conventional toilet with on-site water recycling. Electricity could be produced locally, hence reducing the waste of electricity over long distance.

Efficient Vertical Farming
Vertical Farming is already a reality thanks to Verticrop. We still can make this new type of farming more efficient. A serie of data coming from weather forcast, shops and from the farm itself would help to mature fruits and vegetable at the right time for the right target.

Cradle to cradle recycling
Cradle to cradle brings object back to the same level of quality. Often, in the recycling process material are mixed and produce lesser quality material. If we could use cradle to cradle process for our packaging we could dramatically reduce our waste. To support this process we need a camera to analyze and recognize each packaging to determine where to send the packaging back.

The deduction is that environmental ideal doesn’t necessarily means being slow. A merger between what nature can offer and industrial need is yet to be define.
Paulli thinks that large companies are often inefficient at handling new source of revenue emerging from their waste. Current manager are not trained in handling new circuit, hence the logical solution is outsourcing. This method has to survive under high pressure of result, fear of cannibalizing other product and approval of stakeholder. Among all those problems, insurance could offer relief. Their goal is to gather more efficient companies.
Sometimes the book presents overwhelming figures, tweaking figures to make their point. Overall his believe sounds attractive as he is trying to learn from nature, twist economical model and using current technology together to bring our society closer to nature.
